Should Plastic Bag be Use In Supermarket ?
I think plastic bags are a waste of time and money. They are only used for around 10 minutes and then just thrown away. Some plastic bags have flown into the ocean and the marine life are either getting tangled up in them or dying because of them. If we do stop making plastic bags, it will help stop global warming. Icebergs won’t melt down and all the penguins, seals and polar bears will not fall off the icebergs.
Did you know that they produce around 5 Trillion plastic bags each year? That is enough to go round the world 7 times. Plastic bags need loads of sun to break down into small pieces and it takes them 1,000 years to break down. The supermarkets have tried giving discounts for being your own bag but it hasn't work out. They have also charged people for not bring your own bags but it didn't work.
Kia Ora,
ReplyDeleteIts Georgia here from the Summer Learning Journey Programme.
What an awesome piece of persuasive writing! I definitely agree that we use too much plastic in this world and that eliminating them from regular every day use will help with our global warming issue.
